Recently we received a few bottles of the D.C. Original Mambo Sauce. We were surprised to see such a great sauce come from a place so close to the Mason Dixon line. It’s a sauce that’s been around D.C. for a long time but they just recently started to bottle it. In the past it could be found in many carryout places, primarily Chinese carryouts. It is made and sold at the Brightwood Bistro as well as online at www.mambosaucedc.com.This sweet and tangy sauce is not only for BBQ but it can be put on just about anything.
